When I read a diary post of Sacinanda Swami after a japa retreat, this excerpt really stood out, grabbed and held my attention.
"On a personal level I learned:When you call out from the heart - your chanting reaches Krsna's heart; a heart to heart relationship takes place. When you only chant with the tongue, your chanting does not pass beyond the Lord's ears. He hears you -but His heart does not reach out to you."
